That's been our policy out here too. Although we do let the preying mantises live - they're super cool and alien looking, and I think they eat other bugs. Nikko isn't so kind though... he makes ALL bugs die a slow and painful death by forcing them to become his toy until they're too dead to squirm and be any more fun.
Yeah, we have exception too. Cute bugs, and those too fast to catch get to live....lol.
Like Nikko, Pooh is not so kind either.
