Sunset Near Death Valley

Overall Death Valley is a great day trip. Kind of hot this time of year but not too bad. I will really like to be there in the early spring time to see the desert wildflowers in bloom.

As August turns to September, fall is upon us. We are told by many people that fall around here comes in like a lion. By the end of September we can expect temps to dip into the mid to high 80's. People who have lived in Vegas for a long time seem to think that is cold! I suppose after a time we will too, but it is hard to imagine.
