I just found these photos from when
my parents were still here. While driving to
Red Rock Canyon we saw a sign that said
"Watch for Burros". We commented that in our
many trips out here we had never seen one. Then
all of the sudden, here were some burros......
On the way back we got caught in a massive
sand storm. The police closed the road, after we got on it
ofcourse. Visibility was about 1 foot. For about 20 mins we
were just stopped on the freeway because you could not see anything.
Time for a new air filter!
We got to Oatman late and missed the gun fight.
Fortunately we were just in time for the donkey fight!
They are fast and furious for sure.
